6 Ideas For Easy And Instant Products

Every big time marketer will tell you that product creation and marketing is really where it’s at if you want to make it big in your niche online.

A product of your own gives you credibility, authority and will become a core piece of your business you can use to get customers, leads and form JV partnerships.

I have created a handful of digital products in my online career, but I recently have been thinking that I should be making more!

Digital products are the best kind because you do the work just once and it can be downloaded over and over again. Plus deliver can be automated so it’s really a set and forget business. The perfect kind for living the internet lifestyle!

This is my excuse… but the reason I find it hard to create more products is not because I don’t know how or are lacking ideas.. but believe it or not, I have too many ideas it’s hard to pick one and run with it.

I also have a slight case of the tendency to “over-think” things.. and that leads to procrastination. That’s my weakness and I admit it. I am not perfect – no-one is! Not even the big gurus!

So back to this article about product ideas, let me unload a few of my ideas on to you.. who knows, maybe one of these could be a ‘million-dollar idea’ for you!

1. Interview An Expert(s), Or Have Someone Interview You

First of all, this is easy and quick and it turns you into an authority by association. Record the interview and sell the product as an MP3. You can use Skype and any of the Skype recording apps available. Audio interviews make cheap, quick and high value products!

2. Ask Experts To Contribute A Chapter Of An Ebook

Again, little work on your part and you get the authority by association. Your job is to approach and collect this content from marketing experts in your niche. This kind of product helps everyone involved because they are all getting exposure.

3. Short “How-to” PDF Report

PDF reports can be short 10 – 20 pages. Give 1 solution to 1 problem that people are desperate to fix. If you hate writing, you can always outsource, or you can talk into a microphone and do voice to text.

4. Screen Capture Video

Like the short report, explain and show how to solve a problem by showing how to do it on your computer screen with voice. Video products have high perceived value so your customers will love you. Here is a free screen capture software called Jing Project.

5. Create and Sell PLR

PLR is always hot. You can sell PLR to articles, reports, videos, audios, graphics, templates, software, scripts… just about anything digital, if you created it, you can sell it with PLR.

6. Team Up With Someone Who Already Has A Product…But Isn’t Selling Well

There are a lot of product owners who have done the hard work but can’t get it to sell. Get in the circles in your niche to make friends and strike up deals. You can strike a deal and team up with another marketer to promote their product for a share of the fame and fortune.

Bonus Tip: If you’re stuck for ideas, check out the market to see what is already selling! You can’t totally rip off their product but you can get ideas to create your own.

I’ll admit product creation can be a pretty daunting task, especially you’ve never done one before but if you use the tips above and go through the steps of product creation, you can easily create your own hot selling products and build a stable internet business.

Free Software To Speed Up Your PC

I’ve recently just came across this funky new software and was so impressed, I just had to share it with you.

For one, it costs no money to download and use, it’s spyware free and there are no catches or hoops to jump through to use it.

It’s a legit piece of software.. and besides it packing a very funky interface, it actually does work to speed up your computer.

Soluto

The software is called Soluto and you can download it at their website http://www.soluto.com/ (not an affiliate link).

As the tag line says “Anti-Frustration software”.. it will remove your frustrations of wasting your precious minutes waiting for your machine to boot and your browser to load etc.

A fast PC is a big secret to getting more done.

I used to have a very low-power machine that just crept along.. it was a real struggles to get anything productive done.

I finally got fed up with waiting for my poor little PC to even open Windows Explorer so I invested in a new machine.

That was one of the best investments I ever made for my business.

As soon as I got my new PC and kept it in top shape, my productivity efficiency went through the roof. I could do everything so much faster.

Maybe you can’t get a new PC, but you can clean  your current one up with these software apps.

Before I found Soluto, I was using CCleaner. It will scrub your PC from head to toe.. (or in PC terms from browser cookies to missing DLLs)

CCleaner is also free, safe and highly recommended.

Right now, I have both installed and my PC is running super smooth and lightning fast!

Nothing is more frustrating or worse for getting things done than a slow machine that grinds to a halt and then crashes every few minutes.

Speed up your PC and watch your productivity sky-rocket.. working on your PC actually becomes more fun too!

Stu Sensei Says: Get Tweetdeck

Tweetdeck is a free  multiple social site profile management application (say that fast 10 times) which I came across a while ago and one that I’m going to be using for a long time to come because it just keeps getting better and better.

Originally, Tweetdeck was designed with Twitter in mind and was only a desktop app, but has come a very long way. You can now manage your Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Buzz, Foursquare, and Myspace profiles from the one apllication.

And did I mention it now has many different applications for PC, Mac, Linux, iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad?

When it was new, I wanted to use it for my Twitter account and had it for my desktop.

I like using Twitter but I didn’t like using the Twitter.com site for a few reasons. Them being, the Twitter home page would scroll very sloooooowwwwly, and I when I wanted to unfollow someone, I had to go to that user’s page and then click on “unfollow”.

Tweetdeck solves those problems and provides me with even more eye-popping features.

The best features being…

– I can see the main news feed, my mentions, my direct messages and my Facebook news feed all on the one screen.

– I can follow and unfollow anyone without going to their profile page (although Twitter.com lets you do that now too).

– I can retweet, reply, send a direct message to a user in a click or two.

– I can schedule Tweets (love this one).

– I can upload pics, videos and record a video with your webcam and Tweet it right away.

– I can manage/tweet from multiple Twitter accounts by switching them on/off.

There are more like, auto url shrinking, TweetShrinking, translation, see recent hash tags you’ve used and more.

I’ve probably forgotten many but I think you get the gist of it.

The best thing is it’s free and like I said, it keeps getting better. It’s fast and light on your computer.

If you use Twitter and/or other social networking sites and want a central control panel, you can’t beat Tweetdeck. I give it double thumbs up.

You can download TweetDeck here for free.

And by the way, if you’re on Twitter, please follow me! Here’s my Twitter profile: http://www.twitter.com/StuartStirling

Enjoy and have a great day!

Setting Up Your Online Support Desk

If you’re selling digital products, or any product online, a support desk website is highly recommended.

I finally pulled my finger out and got a dedicated support desk set up this week after doing internet marketing and selling digital products for nearly 4 years without one.

Something I should have got around to about 3 and a half years ag0 😉

How NOT To Manage Support

Up until now, I was managing (receiving and sending) the majority of my customer support requests directly from my email inbox.

You can probably see the many problems with this.

eg. Lost emails that get either get mixed with spam and I accidentally delete them or emails that never get delivered full stop.

I sometimes had customers complain, telling me they had tried to contact me once or twice already without a response. Of course, this is not good for business.

Customer satisfaction is a top priority for me, and should be for you too if you care about your business.

Having a dedicated support desk, and not just an email address says a lot for your credibility too. When your customers see you care enough to have a quality support system in place, they feel more secure about dealing with you online.

Easy To Outsource

Another benefit for having an online support desk is that it makes outsourcing the task so easy. This is something I will be doing very soon.

I spend way too much time sending customers new download links for digital products (any marketer who uses RAP or $7 secrets script will know what it’s like). Customer support is not a task for the entrepreneur.

Out time would be MUCH better spent on developing products, writing copy and networking with other entrepreneurs – things that take us forward in our business.

Best Support Desk Option

After looking around for support desk software, I finally decided on the free, open source system, OS Ticket.

It’s simple enough for even me to use, and I could install it via my cpanel’s fantastico on my website…and it’s free. Quick, easy, free – just what I wanted.

The only complaint I have about OS Ticket is that there isn’t a Knowledge base or FAQ where customers can search for and check info before submitting a ticket. But seeing as though the majority o my support demands at the moment are for new download links, FAQ’s aren’t going to help with that much.

A Domain Name Or Not?

I set up my support desk on a new domain, StuartStirlingSupport.com.

You can do this too – something like YourNameHelpDesk.com which gives a nice image and helps with your credibility. But there is always the option to create your support desk on a sub-domain or in a new directory on your existing domain. i.e. www.YourName.com/support

Either way you choose, a support desk website is going to help you avoid clutter in your inbox and give your customers a better experience.

To your success,
