If you want to build a list of buyers, you only need to focus on 2 things.
1) Getting more order buttons online (launching more products and more services)
The more order buttons, the more chance of a sale – don’t you agree? Of course traffic plays a role in that too, but it’s easy to get traffic.
What I really want is to build a better list.. a list of buyers.
It really isn’t the size of the list that matters. It’s how responsive they are and how much they trust you.
I know how to build a list very quickly. I could buy solo ads and a bunch of hits on traffic exchanges. But that is asking for freebie-seekers and tire-kickers.
Some of them become buyers but I’d much prefer a list of people eager to get what I’ve got and to spend money.
You want to get subscribers on your list who like to engage and buy. You really need to have a long-term plan with your list, which is to build a relationship with them – and they will buy from you over and over.
2) Producing higher quality products
If you really want to stand out in the crowd, have an exceptional product. You could call it “over-deliver”.
This doesn’t mean to not sell cheap products. Low-ticket offers are mega important to in your marketing. They’re an entry-way for your customers to buy without risking too much.
As for higher-priced products, I have no qualms about charging high prices (more than $50) for my products and services. as I see it as a win-win. I earn more money which is a given, and my customers are more likely to get results because they attach a higher value to the product which gives them a feeling of obligation to actually use it to try to recoup the investment they’ve made. No one likes to waste money, especially a big sum, so when we pay a lot for something, we want to bloody well make sure we use it!
In conclusion, I encourage you to look at your business goals and see what you need to do to reach them. You may have to make changes. If you’ve got an income goal for this year, then the most viable way to achieve that is to get more customers and/or charge more.
p.s. Do you know what changes you need to make in your business? Let me know below in the comments. I’d love to hear them.
