Article marketing is one of the best ways to get free targeted traffic from the search engines.
It’s one of the very few marketing methods that works for nearly every niche you can imagine.
You may already know that article marketing can drive traffic and sales but have you been seeing traffic and sales from your article marketing?
Most people don’t, and here are some questions you can ask yourself to find out where you’re going wrong.
1. First, start at the beginning. What product(s) are you trying to sell?
Are they a solution for a desperate buyer market? Desperate buyers are the best type to go for. Finally, do they convert?
2. Next, look at the keywords you are targeting with your articles, web pages etc.
Are they ‘buyer’ keywords? There are different levels a buyer gos through until he/she buys.
Are you targeting the buyer at the precise moment they are going to buy? Or are they still researching a solution.
e.g. “how to lose weight” VS. “discount weight loss pills” – see the difference?
Are they low competition but have a decent search volume?
Even if they have high competition, you can still get up there on Google, but you need to get more backlinks and give it time.
Those are the two most important things to get right when doing article marketing. 90% of your success swings on them.
All that’s left is to make sure the offer you’re sending them to converts! But get these two things right first and your traffic will be ‘buying’ traffic.
Bonus Tip: Also remember that you don’t need a lot of articles and a lot of traffic to make sales. If you get the keywords right and the product/offer right, you can get sales from just a few clicks a day in one article.
